Stupid Laws?

in school we studied the Jim Crow laws. I know they're segregation but some are absolutely ridiculous.

My states laws that I found stupid, funny, and that made no sense what-so-ever!. (minnesota)


It is illegal to stand around any building without a good reason to be there.
It is illegal to sleep naked.
You're not allowed to park your elephant on main streat (virginia)
It is illegal to walk across the Minnesota-Wisconsin border with a duck on your head.
A person may not cross state lines with a duck atop his head.
The color blue has been banned since 1913. No one is allowed to wear the color or paint anything that color. Anyone entering the state in a blue car must pay a fee or be sent to prison.

Elephant used to be a pizza stand on wheels back when I was teeny tiny. I was about five or six when they went out of business.
The blue color law was removed. Because otherwise my whole family would be in jail along with my whole town and school. =/

The law about R-Rated movies is soooooo stupid.
If you're 17, you can see an R movie by yourself; but if you're under 17, a 17 year old can't take you, a 21 year old has to.
I find that completely stupid

Yea, last weekend my boyfriend and I went to see Inglorious Basterds and I stayed in the truck while he went to buy the tickets. Apparently the lady carded him and then since he was buying two, she wanted to see my ID too. So I had to walk all the way over to the ticket booth to just show her my ID. I'm 17 and he's 21. I understand it because there are some parents that will buy tickets to inappropriate movies for their underage children, but I was still mad about it.

but i think its one of those laws that's not really in effect anymore haha

theres one in my state (nc) that says it's illegal to sing off key
