i stand corrected. i thought you guys were referring to Jesus, the SON of God. He, in fact, is male. But God is a Spirit, therefore neither male nor female. Sorry, it was a misunderstanding (: but i also don't think it's correct to call God a he/she. just say He like in the Bible. it makes it simpler. just a suggestion... -- Edited by xo_rebecca_xo at 08/18/2008 6:53 PM PDT

There's no proof that God is a man or a woman. The Bible refers to God as "He" because the societies were patriarchal. -- well maybe you should just drink a lot less coffee and never ever watch the ten o'clock news maybe you should kiss someone nice or lick a rock, or both ---Regina Spektor Ghost of Corporate Future

I don't nesacarily believe that you should wait until your married, but you should definately have the first experiance with someone you love, and i don't mean you think they love you. like you have known them for years and you both love each other. While on the topic, i have to share something. my best friends mom is a huge believer in jesus, but my friend isn't really totally christian. but her mom gave her a purity ring for her 13 birthday, and forced her to sign the thing that she wrote for her. like i understand that if you wnat the ring then power to you, but her mom kind of pushed it on her, like she had no choice. how does her mom know if she wants to save herself? i thought that was kind of rude of her. -- ¨° º¤ø„¸¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨ ¨°º¤ø„¸ ♥Niya♥ ¸„ø¤º°¨ ¸„ø¤º°¨♥Papaya♥ `°º¤ø„¸ ¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø„¸¨°º¤ø„ "Your fishy seems to have died of thirst. omg.. wow.. substitute for love... that was an amazing paragraphs! lol u should be like a youth leader or sumthing. anyway.. im pretty young and i have a purity ring.. just because i have decided to save myself for that one special person... as far as the "having sex in heaven" converesation... i mean come onn.. heaven is going to be a perfect place.. and i believe that there won't be anything like that in heaven.. because there is no reason to have it anyway. [u no sex makes babies and thats y god invented sex.. we cant have babies in heaven..] get what im saying? anyway.. its your own personal preference.. the girl who asked what i think of themm.. personal i believe it gives me power.. like i feel gods presence when i wear it.. i also feel lost with out it... like that i have no purpose in life.. or im unsure about myself. truly. i totally agree with the girl below me.. so bravo to her! and i mean.. if u want to have sex before marriage.. just be sure your commited.. because god doesnt want us to get hurt. u no? anywayy i hope i helped.. :]]

I have a purity ring! I think that the purity ring is a material symbolization of your will to wait and that it also symbolizes your marriage to God until you know you find the right one!! "you always have to test lots of cars before you know which one you want" I agree with this sentence....but not when it comes to sex!! I do believe you have to test the waters to see who is true to you and who is not and you'll probably go through a lot of men before this until one deserves all of you...he knows it and you know it!! You don't just want to give men sex, even if you know them well as you think, because usually that is what they want anyways! They can be manipulative, scandalous, and a lot of other things...You should make the man wait and see if he is even willing to stay with you without sex! I think though, when it comes to figuring out who the right person is...you know getting to know them all about them and them getting to know you and trust you with themselves and vice versa, build a relationship and yeah...then marrying the person who you find out is right for you!! If that made sense!! And God said that we should stay virgins till marriage...of course you don't have to but you should! He says this to benefit us and keep us from harm and hurt. I think that God does get disappointed in us, I mean he sets rules for us, for our benefit, to protect us...and when we break these rules some consequence comes about that might hurt us or hurt others or both!!! God is not kick back with doing harm upon others or oneself. I don't believe God is just going to say to those murderers and rapists out there...Oh that's fine I forgive you! Of course he will be disappointed in them, and he will judge them, but he is merciful. And the bible says that he does feel anger but not in a way that causes one to sin. -- ♥♥JeRo♥♥ --- Mama always told me to be careful who I love. And daddy always told me make sure he's right. I always had my eyes on this one particular guy. I was too shy so I decided to write. I'm sending him a 4 page letter and I sealed it with a kiss...♥

your right, and i think that God is powerful enough to accept that everyone is going to sin at some point. He accepts it, He excepts it. thats why He is so amazing. He is obciously smart enough to know that no one is perfect and yes we are going to break the rules and maybe do something against the bible, but He accepts it. so why should we stop living? the other thing is i do not believe He is like a best friend -- one will never be lonely if they learn to befriend themselves. ♥

i agree..religion is a tough subject. right thats whta i meant..you had it on purpose and therefore it wasnt a mistake .... really? your actually accepting my input on it..hm...well, i think that we should try our best not to sin..like things we can control (like this) but that we are human and we are going to sin anyway and that is when we can realize how powerful he really truly is -- Team Edward -or- Team Jacob --Who to choose? making it sound like i did what on purpose? have sex? well it wasnt an accident.. if thats what you mean. and im going to accept your intake on god being disappointed and whatnot, but i dont believe he does get disappointed. i think he wants us to sin so we can realise how powerful he really is, and so we realise that he can forgive us because we are his children. its hard to explain, religion is just such a touchy subject. -- one will never be lonely if they learn to befriend themselves. ♥
