I agree, Arielle. It's so annoying when people vote just because a candidate is pro-choice/pro-life because they think the president will make a huge difference in that area when they really won't.

Some of you act like abortion is this brand new thing that Obama is trying to expose us to. Last I checked, Bush wasn't so fond of abortion either and yet he's been president for the last 8 years and it's still legal. Even if McCain won, it's not like he could just swoop in, overturn Roe v. Wade, and POOF abortion is gone. That's not the way it works.

how do you know? he has no experience. no president-elect has the experience. so how do you know unless they spend time around the office or at least in the economy before hand? he won by pity vote for race card and everyone knows it.

this is a radio survey that people took about african americans who are voting for obama, using his name, and saying he "ran with sarah palin" and is "keeping the troops in iraq". we know hes not doing that, and yet these people are ignorant enough to vote for him.

ok...it makes me laugh when people say obama will be the worst president....were ANY of you paying attention to the past eight years?!?!?!?!?!?! i mean COME ON! bush is/was a complete JOKE!
anyway...i think obama will have the hardest job being president by far, not because of who he is but who was president before him. he has so much to do to try and get us back to before bush screwed everything up.
and about the abortion thing, no im not for it, but im not for making it basically impossible to get bc if you need it, tax breaks for rich, the government controling MY body, "drill baby drill", not caring about our vets, and not caring for the poor, oh and for not giving people that need healthcare, healthcare just because they dont have the money.... call me crazy but i believe every living human has the RIGHT to healthcare..yeah all these things are things mccain believed in....i believe this is why obama CRUSHED mccain in the polls...you cant overlook that fact...

i just think Obama is not going to be a very good president. Im willing to give him a chance, but I just don't really care for him to much. I think Bush was a really good president. He kept us safe from attacks. I have not seen one tradgey in america since 9/11 from terriosts. the main job the president is suppose to do is keep us safe. I think he did a damn good job.
Also im not looking for debate at all, i don't like debate to much. All it is people arguing with each, when we all know know one is going to change there mind about there opinion. If you guys are going to debate im not going to respond back.

Must everyone debate about this? Obama won. Get over it. You think he's going to be a bad president? That's YOUR opinion. It's not like your opinion can impeach him. For example, Bush was the worst, and did anyone impeach him? Nope. Some people even supported his stupid decisions and ways of doing things. So stop whining because it isn't gonna change much of anything, guys. Stating facts it one things, but going on and on about why he's a bad pres.? He hasn't even gone to office yet. :P

Try to focus on the GOOD things Obama is going to do. (: It'll make it much easier.

Alright Fitchlove95. If the law he wants passed gets passed tell me how many more babies die because everyone wanted him president! Tell me how many babies get shelved so they can lie there and die. I don't ever want to hear someone ask why we don't have the cure for Aids or some Cancers, because for all you know all those babies that were aborted some of them may have had the answer. you never know by the time they would be our age they may be geniuses, but all everyone wants is an abortion!

ok he won over the popular vote, and the electoral votes. he won by a landslide so doesn't that say something to u? In my opinion, i like Obama beter than Mccain. Obama is in the young range, and he knows what us young people would want unlike Mccain. Mccain he seems very set in his ways and stubborn.
