hah yes; but then technically it would be more of a resort (:
& its true! its in like the uppermost part of pennsylvania; and its like "hickville". they have a mall; and the best store in the mall is WALMART. everything revolves around hunting. ickk. and i don't think there is a cell tower within a 50 mile radius.
& we used to have a hot tub that my dad put in so that me & my mom would come up more often; we stay at home while my dad, brother & sister go; but they took it out cause we still wouldn't come and it was too much work since no one used it (:

oh my god. I love you. "It doesn't get cell reception" That's exactly what I would say! I'm just not fond of the woods. Maybe like a really nice cabin in like Colorado or somewhere, with a hottub and a place where I could go skiing. Now that's my kind of woods.

my brother hunts. but hes only 9 so he can only hunt little animals or whatever.
i would never hunt. i don't care about shooting the animals cause i don't like animals; but i hate the woods. we have a cabin; but seriously i've never been there because its in the middle of nowhere and doesn't get cell reception

I've never been hunting. Nor will I ever go. I'm not against it. I just could never see myself going through the woods or whatever with a gun. Ha. I mostly wear high heels and I'm from New York...so yeah, put that picture in your head.

Okay.
1. Hunting is not cruel.
2. Hunting is not dangerous.
Mostly everyone that has a license (all except like 10 people) are very safe with their guns and know how to use them properly.
3. If we don't shoot animals, (pheasants, turkeys, deer etc) those animals will get overpopulated and die on their own anyway. But very in-humanely I might add. If you kill the animal the right way (in the lung/heart area where the vital organs are) you are doing the animal a favor in my opinion.
4. Those of you who are vegetarians, I do respect you though.

ok wow
if you are a vegetarian, then i can understand how you can think hunting is cruel, so i respect you for not being hypocritical and i also respect your opinion.
but to everybody who eats meat, how could you think hunting is cruel? hunting is just getting meat! (unless you don eat it...which i think is wasteful) i think you should realize what happens to all the animals you eat. they have to die too. i mean i get it if you couldn't personally do it yourself because you think it's sad, but i think its stupid to think its cruel for anyone to hunt
i've never hunted before but my dad does and i'm going turkey hunting next year =]

I am totally against hunting! Like others said, it is cruel. And yes you eat meat, but thats what going to the store and buying it is called, yea people have hunted them for you to eat, but you hunting yourself just increases more killed animals which is unneccisary. When you can buy it, you dont need to hunt because i think people should only hunt if needed, and its not needed. Just think of the poor animals, how would you feel if you were an animal and someone was killing you with a gun
Okay so you would rather the poor cows be led down a gaited walkway, into a stall where they are smashed in the head with a sledge hammer? Hm... not cruel at all?

i've been hunting with my daddy a couple of times when i was a little girl and never shot a fire arm except at the gravel pit where you can take pop cans and can't get in trouble with the law unless you shoot someone on perpose. but this is going to be my first licence.

I would never bring myself to shoot an animal. That animal did nothing to you. In my opinion it is cruel, and disgusting. We should let these creatures be.

i think its mean that people would kill an innocent animal for there enjoyment!
