"I am totally against hunting! Like others said, it is cruel. And yes you eat meat, but thats what going to the store and buying it is called, yea people have hunted them for you to eat, but you hunting yourself just increases more killed animals which is unneccisary. When you can buy it, you dont need to hunt because i think people should only hunt if needed, and its not needed. Just think of the poor animals, how would you feel if you were an animal and someone was killing you with a gun"

yeah, because buying meat from a company that raises their livestock in small pens, loads them up with hormones and growth meds, overfeeds them on food they're bodies aren't even meant to digest, and then later kills them by smacking them between the eyes with a hammer, and then draining their blood while they are still alive is a lot more humane than killing a wild animal yourself.

First of all, do you understand economics at all? If someone is hunting for themselves, they are removing themselves from the meat market, therefore, the meat industry will actually kill less animals than they would be if that person had been buying meat from the grocery store. On top of that, if you are buying your meat, you are supporting an industry that runs rampant in animal abuse and inhumane practices. So why don't you ask yourself - which is worse? Killing an animal that got to live a good life in the wild, or supporting a company that makes money off of animal abuse?

That's true for some cases. I know alot of kids out here who don't like it but then there's some who love it.
I was born in the city and I don't mind it but I love the country so much more.

So it just depends I guess.
But I agree with you. I'm not a big fan of forests. The biggest trees we have here are pecan trees. I like the wide open spaces and big blue sky better than a bunch of trees.

its just not my style; but my dad & brother love it so i'm totally not dissing it. everyone has different tastes.
and it probably has something to do with where you grow up too; cause my dad grew up where he & my brother hunt; where as my mom grew up in the middle of pittsburgh. and they raised me in hershey, pa. im sure if i was raised where my dad was; or where you live, then i would love it too (:

"...its like "hickville". they have a mall; and the best store in the mall is WALMART. everything revolves around hunting."

I live in a "HickTown". Nearly everyone hunts, everyone drives a truck, you can always find a million BBQ's out at the lake every weekend, we all go muddin, everyone hunts/fishes, everyone listens to country music, etc etc etc. Is there something wrong with that?

Yeah, I don't know, I bet I could convince my stepmom, and then we could both convince my dad. I'll use the spa angle on her. haha.

Yeah, I don't really go to walmart or target. only when I'm in a different place and that's whats around.

Ha, yeah, I guess so. But if it was like a private home, then it wouldn't be! ha. I'll have to talk to my dad about that one...lol.

That's funny. I've been in a Walmart like 3 times. I thought it was interesting...I bought a lot of nail polish...ha.
