I'm not getting one. Its a scam by the goverment for peoples money. Wash your hands, use hand sanitizer, take a vitamina and don't touch your eyes or mouth or nose. If you ask me H1n1 and normal seasonal flu are the same thing americans just aren't used to h1n1 so they are freaking out.

Hmm. It's only available for high risk people around these parts. Like, my boyfriend got it since he has the immune system out of a horror movie and it'd probably kill him, but I can't even if I wanted to. -- It’s a big, bright, beautiful world, with happiness all around. It’s peaches and cream and every dream comes true. It’s a big, bright, beautiful world, with possibilities everywhere. And just around the bend there’s a friend or two. But not for you. People hate the things they cannot understand. (11/22/08. For now, for always, forever.)

I haven't gotten it, only the regular flu shot. I mean ultimately it's up to your parents if you're under 18 but it's good you're questioning it. I know that it's relatively new & still being tested so that's a reason it isn't good to get it just yet. but then some people say much worse can happen from not getting the shot but it's a small percentage. I have no clue if it's good or not but for now I'm not getting it. there isn't really an answer since no one knows the effectiveness & such of it yet. do whatever you feel comfortable with & do some research before you just get it. -- ~ Cory ~ xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

i wouldn't recommend it vaccines have all kinds of things in them that you wouldn't believe. mercury and aluminum. the strand of whatever the vaccine is for can also be really bad depending on what it is and your system/ how you react to things. this includes the basic things most of us got at a very young age, ex: mmr, polio. a study showed that if you got the flu shot for five consecutive years it upped your risk of getting alzheimer's or cancer. don't get anything without reading all the side effects. i'm not trying to scare you, just consider it also, watch this http://media.causes.com/510463 it's about gardasil, and what could happen if you get it -- Edited by flipflopcutie27 at Nov 5, 2009 9:05 PM EST -- michaela i'm a theatre child interior designer- that's what i hope to be this guy named jesus, well he kinda has my heart i'm huge on music and i'm a total hippie

i got mine yesterday... after standing in a line for 3 and a half hours for a shot... that was definitely how i wanted to spend my night. but it didnt hurt like at all... i didn't even notice i got the shot until she put the bandaid on... all of my doctors and my mom's doctor recomended it... so if you are worried i would call your doctor and see what they say. Good Luck!!! -- Edited by jennaroo44 at Nov 5, 2009 7:39 PM CST -- When i'm older & my daughter asks me who my first love was, I don't want to have to pull out the old photo album. I want to be able to point across the room & say "he's sitting right over there." ♥

my mom said I can't because it paralyzed and killed more people then H1N1 itself. So I think you should do some research about it.

i got the flu shot but i refused to get the h1n1 shot mainly because it is too new for me, and they might find something out about itlater. i don't get medicines and shots when they are brand new.

i got it today and take it from someone who hasnt gotten a shot in 5 years who was also scared out of their freaking mind and btw has a HUGE phobia of needles it wasnt that bad(: my arm wasnt even sore get it in the arm you write with it doesnt get as sore because the muscle is more developed dont worry about it(: i got it along with the other 1000 kids in my school and no one got anything more than a sore arm for a few hours good luck :D -- proud social phobe- one who excessively fears embarrassment in social situations I'd like to make myself believe... that planet earth turns slowly... ~owl city the only way to fix a broken heart is for someone else to come along and put it back together
