Facebook is really good, loads of people in my school have it too, but if you do get it, only accept people you actually know, for obvious reasons.

haha yeah. always good to tell the parents. actually with me, i asked for permission but they didnt know i actually made it until my mom searched my name. but good luck and have fun!

and no. i have a bunch of friends who were in like one of my classes a few years ago and i never really even talked to them. most of my friends i dont even talk to. and i get requests from people i barely know, but i add them anyway. i dont find it awkward

oh not at all :D i thought it might be, but i've had tons of people add me that i don't know [not creepers, i can see that they're kids from school] so i just accept. it actually makes you feel kind of 'cool'  and that's how i met a lot of people, we'd talk on facebook, then talk about the same thing the next day in person. -- love is only a chapter in a guy's life, but to a girl, it's the whole book. ♥ |

facebook is amazing. i joined because all my friends were joining, and pretty much everyone at my school has one. it's a great way to keep in touch with my friends, especially the ones that i don't see very much. i love looking at other people's photos and posting my own. it can be addicting, but it's good to learn to manage that and homework and other stuff. and i've found that i go on less now that i've had it for a while, because at the beginning it was just so new to me. but bottom line: DEFINITELY get one! it's so worthwhile!

is it awkward when someone "friends" you? or you friend them? like if they're from school and you kinda know them, but you're not friends? lol. so yea... basically is it awkward?

i have one. and i think every single person in my school has it. maybe only one or two people don't have it.
i use it for group projects in school.
to talk to my friends who don't have aim.
put up and comment on pictures and videos.
then theirs tonsss of apps like super wall, sketch me, send hugs, currently theirs valentines gifts, etc.
you should DEFINITELY get one. it's totally worth it. and if you end up not liking it you can just deactivate your account.

Okay, so I have a question about it. Whoever has it, why do you have it? Pros? Cons?
I'm debating whether or not to get one. I used to talk to my friends on AIM but no one is there anymore. Then again, I don't want facebook to take up all of my time... opinions?
