i have tons of elf stuff, i order online. so far, i got..:
the candy shop lip tins in frosting fanatic, cherry bomb and a pink one, the pink one smelled like coffee :D
the theraputic conditioning balm in strawberry cream, works good and in vanilla, DONT GET IT, it makes your lips look disgusting and yellow.
super glossy lip gloss, makes your lips look like saran wrap.
i really like their eyeshadow.
some pressed powder, works well and so does their bronzer.
mascara doesnt work well.
eyeliner in horrible.

i've actually heard that the brushes are really good, except the foundation brush isn't good for foundation it's better for concealer.

Well, my plan is to get some brushes from elf, and then ask for some better ones for my birthday and Christmas. I'm talking MAC or Urban Decay or something that will last a long time, and are good quality.
If I end up completely loving the elf brushes though, I'll keep on using them.
What I want right now are just more than 2 brushes. And, they're only $1, so even if they are crappy, its not like I spent a ton on them. I'll just know what NOT to buy. lol!

Don't get their brushes. They're rough and I don't like them. Get Target brushes they're like 5-10 dollars and they're so soft and the blend really well.
The only good things by ELF are their eyeshadows and lipglosses really.

ooh i just found out about elf like a month ago. so i ordered some stuff.
i'll tell you what i think about what i got
shimmering facial whip in lilac petal - LOVE IT, i use it as a highlight, and it's small but it will last a loooong time because you only need a little when you use it.
nail polish in royal purple - AHMAZING for just $1. i only needed one coat and it came out the same color as the bottle. but with no top or base coat it chips easily.
liquid eyeliner in midnight - pretty bad...
the green and brown eyeshadow duo (forgot the name) - its good but it creases, its a little better with a base
nail nourishing cuticle pen - didn't do anything for my nails
ok theres more but im leaving in 30 seconds for drivers ed so i'll do the rest later haha
its also good to watch elf reviews on youtube if you haven't already.
another site that has cheap but pretty good quality makeup is cherryculture.com
oh and also and culturalscents.com has really cheap pallets.

I don't know what my mom will say to me ordering online...I mean, I've gotten stuff on Amazon before. I'll have to talk to her about me wanting some more makeup because I don't have my own credit card yet. lol

And, I'm going to get the CG eyelash curler. I went ahead and said, I'm just going to order all me stuff online, that way, I know I'll be able to get it. The CG one on Drugstore.com was on sale. =P

haha I know what you mean I research brands a lot, lol, and waste points on yahoo answers asking about them. I like to plan . elf is really good, especially considering their value. It's probably not high end, but definitely not cheapo makeup...and no animal testing. I actually found some elf stuff in the store yesterday and I bought some. It was more than a dollar, but no shipping and still cheap, so it was worth it I guess. Sorry about all the makeup posts. I must be going through a phase. I've decided to order a couple brushes and some makeup from e.l.f. (Their eyeshadow brush got many many high reviews.) I was wondering what you girls thought of e.l.f. and if it really was good quality, not just cheapo makeup. I mean, if I don't like it, its no biggy.
