the best kept secret in make-up!

I used e.l.f. for about a year now. The first time I used it i was a little bit scared because I had read that the shipping and quality wa horrible. But I decided to give it a shot. And I fell in love with the products. They even have mineral make-up now ranging from 3-5 dollars. Even mineral lipstick!!!! I've found it at Big Lots though ,too.

ELF is pretty much hit and miss. Their eyeshadows are good, but you can get a lot of fall out and their pigments aren't as intense as others. I hear their nail polishes are good and highly pigmented, but their bronzers/blushes/powders are streaky and not that great. Their click stick lipglosses are really good, but the ones in the squeezy tubes are sticky and too glossy for me. Their mascaras and eyeliners are horrible. The eyeliner is hard (and it's like two inches long!) and it smudges and wipes off too easily and their mascara is clumpy and dries out and smudges.

But it's definitely worth it to try their products. Some of their products are my favorite make up items like their Cherry Tart liplgoss and their butternut and drama (it's really pigmented!) eye quads. Everything else is...meh...I'd rather spend extra money and get something of better quality.

I just spent some time looking at the website and found out they sell it at the Kmart near my house. I think I'm going to try it. I'm going to need some new make up soon so I think I'll try E.L.F.!

they send like 100048209-3132784635720481 e-mails a day but there make-up is sooo cheap, gets good reviews and is featured in my favorite style magazines.

so i signed up for one of their contests and they would send me like 5 e-mails a day!
but today I actaully looked at the website...there make-up is amazing! i ordered 7 things and the total was 13.45 (i had a 50% off coupon so originallly it was like 19. and some odd cents)

this included:
- 2 nailpolishes
- cuticle smoother thingy
- eyelash curler
- moms blush/bronzer set
-a blush brush
-and moms eyebrow pencil

most (and pretty much all) of the regualr make up is $1
and the make-up meant for professionals (studio) is mostly $3

i am sooo excited that a good make-up is actually reasonable. I was sick of spending like $10 on one thing at sephora.

just my opinion, i'll post more when i recieve the products.
