Hmmm, politics is always a...difficult issue, to say the least!
In a way, I do agree with you, in saying that people should form their own opinion. Although, if you've grown up in an environment or family, like your friend, who have a solid political stance, then it might be hard to break free from that way of thinking?!
But yeah... I do agree with you. There are too many ignorant voters out there.

okay, so i'm not gonna lie, i'm not someone who's incredibly into politics. don't get me wrong, i'm educated, and have opinions, and i'm not into hiding my opinions. but after a while, i just get sick of all the debating.
anyway. i was talking to someone the other day, and she flat out told me she was a republican because her mom was one. and i was like, what!? you're legal and registered to vote, but you aren't intelligent enough to do a little bit of research and form your OWN opinions!? that's just stuipd.
hm. i guess that leads me to this:
do you like politics? what are you opinions on this? haha.
