being active can start your period even if you're not expecting it. so start something about 2 weeks before you want your period. after about 2 weeks it might work then after its over with you'll worry less =) but bring along pads and all just in case. this ight not work for everyone though.

exercising excessively helps it be lighter and it sometimes post pones it. i've on like 6 months at a time and not gotten mine and drs. say its because i was at one time working out something like 35+ hrs a week. thats basically insane though. i don't recommend it if you aren't like really active already. but exercising more may help make it lighter for you. -- PROUD PRO-LIFE CHRISTIAN TEXAN ♥ music is my addiction. Yeah, cause doctors can just hand out pills that magically make your period stop.. Wtf?
No. There's no way you can stop it. You could go on birth control. But, it depends on the girl. Some girls keep getting it, some don't. I started the depo shot about 2 months ago, and I haven't gotten a period since. My friend Lauren was on it freshman year, and she still had hers. Like I said, it depends on the girl.

you could go on birth control, but that depends on how old you are.
you can take the pills constantly and just not have it for that month.
it doesn't really do anything to your system, because your period will just come the same time the next month.
i have done it before and it's fine!

There is absolutely no way to STOP it from coming  sorry hun. BUT I found a trick that makes your period lighter. If for the whole week you are on your period you drink nothing but lemon juice or iced tea (something with a lot of citric acid) your period is a lot lighter. During the week of my period every month I practically LIVE off of Iced Tea. it's amazing |

haha no, im sure a lot of girls wish there was a way.
theres birth control pills, if ur really desperate. it totally screws up your hormonal system though

Nope. Sorry hun.
BUT, you can bring along a little kit for in case you do get it, bring some tampons(You might just forget its there!) And some midol or whatever you prefer. I wouldn't worry about getting it on the trip,instead just be thinking about how much fun you're gonna have!
