good luck with tampons, you should try a few brands and see what works for you. try a slim tampon at first though, they're much easier to get in.  -- i am amy and i love riding this rollercoaster called life (: |

i used tampons the first day of my first period.
I used Playtex gentle glide, the combo with the regular and the lights. I liked them but then again I have never tried any other kinds so yeahh. lol

Yeah, I've had mine for 6 years.
My favorite is Playtex Sport.

Ive hav my period for almost 4 years and i have tried so many different brands of tampons and playtex sport has been by far the best. thats all i use now.

i used a tampon on my very first period. i started with playtex gentle glide slender applicator lites. these are THE BEST FOR FIRST TIME TAMPON USERS. then you can progress to regulars, supers, etc if needed.

hehe ya this is my tenth month too lol! -- ~ no longer a member of the periodless club as of 12/08/08~ ~used my first tampon 10/08/09 and can't believe I didnt try it before! if you havent tried a tampon go for it!~ class of 2012 <3 fruit loop fan club member <3 |

haha 7 months is not almost a year...its like a tiny bit more than half a year....just saying.....i have had my period for almost a year and i was wondering the same thing...i have heard you should start with anything that is compak or lite...idk i am so nervous! -- ~ no longer a member of the periodless club as of 12/08/08~ ~used my first tampon 10/08/09 and can't believe I didnt try it before! if you havent tried a tampon go for it!~ class of 2012 <3 fruit loop fan club member <3 |

It really doesn't matter which brand - that's just preference but I like Kotex and Playtex Sport.
