guys, she says BATH, not SHOWER. in other words, if she leaks, the blood will go into the water, not down the drain. that would be very messy.
just wear a tampon. it's no big deal...trust me, you don't wanna take the risk.

no u don't really need to i take a bath or shower when i am on a period and i don't bleed but you may be different becuz every girl is different

no u dnt. i dnt at least... and i dont think that u shoold have too. i mean if u make a mess take a wash cloth and wipe it up. but otherwise. nope :D

actually, you should wear a tampon when you take a bath. remember: ur period does NOT stop in water; it just slows down. and any movement you muscle flex you make could make the flow start again...then you'll have a big mess.

u can take baths when yer on yer period w/ no tampon in...i do all the time...it prolly feels better 2(i wouldnt kno cuz i cant use tampons) but yea i do it all the time

I never wear a tampon when I take a shower on my period, the water pressure usually slows it down, and its good to get water washed around down there and get the area clean.

i dont wear tampons when get a bath because i dont think you get clean enough if you wear one. just my opinion. some people like to wear them.

ok. thanks a heap for all your help. i usually do take showers, but i had bad cramps, my dad didn't know but told me to go and have a bath and i was like that's a good idea but didn't coz i wasn't sure and i wasn't in a tampon mood. lol

Well usually the water pressure slows down the flow.. but not completly. I would probably wear a tampon in the bath cause im a heavy flower and dont wanna take a bath in my blood.... yuck. actually, the blo od doesnt flow when it is exposed to alot of water. thats why some girls on their period can go swimming without a tampon. it'll still (possibly) flow in the shower, it just depends on how much water is hitting that spot.

but i've heard that showering is much better when you have your period

Well I never get dis-coloured water when I am on and get a bath I dont know why and yuu get a lot cleaner when yuu dont have a tampon in I think ! x x
