I agree that you shouldn't have s e x when you aren't married, but I think that if you are both SURE that you want to do this, then you should just be very careful. And if you DO get pregnant, DON'T YOU DARE GET AN ABORTION!!

pulling out is not a method of protection.
birth control and condoms are a good bet. condoms can break.

she asked for ways to reduce the chance of pregnancy not how to completly prevent it
mm i think u would be fine with birth control and condoms.. i guess if u wanted to feel a little more safe u could try spermacide but i think you're set already

she asked in terms of protection for when she does have s.ex though. it's common knowledge that the best way not to get pregnant is to practice abstinence, but it's equally important for teens to know all the safety precautions because not everyone is going to stay pure until marriage, even if we do believe it's the best thing

obviously abstinence is the 100% sure way NOT to get preggers. lol. but doubling on protection with b.c. and c.on.d.om.s is a good idea.

while i do agree with you RUBYZfan, that wasn't her question. obviously the most responsible thing would be to wait until you are in a committed enough relationship that if something were to happen you know he won't bail on you, but aside from that it sounds like you've got it right. condoms and birth control. it's probably a good idea to keep a condom on hand though just in case he forgets or something, just so you know you're always protected

just flat out don't do It. Thats the BEST method to not getting preggo. Condoms break, Birth contorl can fail. just flat out don't do it til you are fully prepared for the possibility to get prggo and wait til ur married and u kno there will be a daddy and a mommy to raise the baby

i'm not for sure considering having s ex, but me and my boyfriend have dated a while and i'm sort of ready.. i'm on birth control and he will wear condoms. i've also heard that pulling out works? anything else that could reduce pregnancy? or any tips you have?
