ha the first time i tried a tampon it was one of my moms HUGE ones cause i didnt want to ask her to buy them for me. i put it in and my period was very light so i freaked out cause i had a huge tampon in my body and no flow. i couldnt pull it out it was too big and dry and hurt sooo bad. so i had to soak in the tub a long time before i could get it out, haha. its normal. all i ever use are tampons now (::

Well most people know that 45 degress is half of 90, which would just be pointing it straight back, and that's not what you're supposed to do if you don't wanna hurt yourself. So it really wasn't an exact angle... It was more like a reference I guess you could say.

Edit:
And I said "like a 45 degree angle" not "exactly a 45 degree angle"

Try like squatting like a duck(sounds weird but it works) and be sure you're putting it in at like a 45 degree angle.

just start small, and follow all the directions on the box. they should help you and i know how hard it is just make sure that you follow all the directions including when to take them out. make sure you dont keep them in for more than 6 to 8 hours. they will get very uncomfortable,

When you first try tampons, try the smallest size they make first. Then you will get used to the feeling and it wont be as scary.... Well thats what I did and now it doesnt bother me at all
