the reason i thouth a group as a good idea becuase if we just let anyone joing wouldn't it be like the girlspace it is now?
but i never thought as seeming superior or whatever I was jsut thinking if we had a problem e know we could rely on the other girls in the group to help us out, and of course anyone else who anted to help.
but i dontknow im up for whatever yall decide :]

ok a lot went on!
Here are my suggestions, I dont disagree with things, just have ideas and not saying they are better or worse than the previous but just want to put them forward:
** LIMITING MEMBERS:
I'm not sure about this, maybe the people we really have got to know and trust and we know are passionate could be on the like committee.
So like those 10 people r committee.
But i want the group to be something any1 can join cos even peole we dont know or hear of probally have good intentions too and I dont think we r going to solve mcuh apart from have a little exclusive group which may come across as we r acting like we are bigger than every1 else and never do anything about the 'spammers'.
**SCREENING PEOPLE:
I think we have to trust people and don't need to 'screen' them as they may be joining as they've changed their ways.. If people spam after joiining we will deal with it then.
** LEADER/PRESIDENT:
Good idea, I'd love to do it joint but not sure I have time to do it alone as I am on here regularly but its my public exam year, v important, i have 9 subjects woth of 2 years work to learn for really important exams.. GS will be great for breaks and when things get hard and Id love to be president but it would be best to have two co-presidents. I dont mind also if you dont want it to be me.. There is blondebrunette, make me feel better-(sorry if thats rong username its osmething like that) and a few others who i know are passionate. SO maybe we could vote??
**SLOGAN/POEM ETC
The poems brilliant. Maybe we can all put it in our signature. We need some 'rules' or 'statements' which tell people expectations.. They need to show how passionate we are and be clear and short but show our reasons for doing this. We need also a really good slogan to put in sigs?!
**GETTING RID OF THE OLD VS NEW BANTER:
Ok, i think some people are now getting annoyed with the whole Old was better thing.. Its true but i dont think will get people to understand what we are about and will put peeople off. So we need to think about this!
** ANYTHING ELSE:
Keep posting and let me know what you think of my suggestions.. i take critisism well!!!

Hiya Sorry I had to rush off it was midnight and my mum got angry that i was on the computer still cos i have a public exam tommororw :S But anyway before i start revising i will finish reading through all this. But one point from the post just two up from this... I never planned it to be something for 10 members type thing.. I want it to be for everyone, even people who have posted obvious lies before, everyone has a new start and claen slate. EVeryone is equal and i dont want to be some superior ordering person or exclusive group... thats not girlspace and not going to make things better. Heyyy.
Firstly, I support this. It's no fun to come on here and have to shift through topics to find people who aren't just looking for attention.
Secondly, I think we have a spammer issue in general, rather than an "Old vs. New" girlspace. It has been worse lately then it used to be, but I had my first account here in summer of 05 and it was spammed back then too.
Thirdly, I agree with whoever said that there should be another board made. Girlspace is just so widely advertised that it will always be spammed. There isn't really a way around it. Maybe someone with beastly computer skills could make an invisionfree board?
