Don't be nervous lol. It took me three years to finally get the courage to do it. I really like them now though. I suggest starting off with regular absorbency.

ok thanks....yeesh...so nervous....how do i know what absorbency to get so its not to much,....i dont want it to hurt  -- ~ no longer a member of the periodless club as of 12/08/08~  ~used my first tampon 10/08/09 and can't believe I didnt try it before! if you havent tried a tampon go for it!~ class of 2012 <3 fruit loop fan club member <3 |

Yeah my mom doesn'st know either. First you have to be in a sitting position and don't put the tampon straight up lol. Angle it towards your lower back. I also suggest maybe regular absorbency first.

I just wated to say I tried my first tampon and succeeded! I was scared but once i got it in, i realized there was nothing to be afraid of. I like them better than pads. Also, has anyone ever ordered the free tampons or pads they give away on beinggirl.com?
