I never have, I do know someone who has, probably more people because it's a private thing, not everyone would fess up to it. they're extremely effective.

It's not an abortion because it prevents the fertilization. It's a very very late form of birth control. According to their website, 7/8 women do not become pregnant, so that's about an 88% success rate. This is not taking into account other factors, but still.
I've heard of girls having bad nausea and cramps, but i've never personally taken it. Just make sure to take it easy and listen to your body. Good luck!

well, one of my friends took this (i'm not saying i am an expert) but I went with her to get it. The pharmacist said that if she is already preggo, then it does not terminate the pregnancy. If she isn't pregnant then it stops her from getting pregnant. It isn't even an embryo until like 10 days after, and you are supposed to take plan b 72 hours after.. that doesn't give it time to even get to the uterus. Its pretty much still a sperm and an egg doing a very excited dance  -- Been on girlspace since some of you have been in diapers! |

it like emergency starts your period so the egg cant implant i think, i wouldnt consider it abortion per say but i think everyone has their own opinion on that

Well I think thats a matter of opinion... I dont consider it abortion. It essentially is a kick start for your period. If the egg has already been fertilized, the pill does not kill it.

its a pill that is basically a chemical abortion. it releases chemicals that destroy the embryo if there was one to begin with. its taken after sex hence the name morning after.

I have used the Plan B pill. I didnt have any real side effects. A little cramping and soreness and my period was a little heavier than normal, but there werent really any significant side effects. However, the effects of the pill vary greatly from one woman to another so your side effects could be completely different and/or worse. When you buy it, it comes with a pamphet explaining everything you need to know. You can get one at your local drugstore but you have to be 18+ and it costs like $50. Also, I dont know how old you are, but there is an age limit for a reason: the younger you are the worse it is on your body. Have you ever heard the horrible stories of the problems birth controls causes some women? Its the same deal because Plan B is essentially a high dose of birth control. One more fact you should know: Plan B is most effective when used within the first 72 hours... the sooner the better.
My advice: look up some information on the internet and decide what is best for you.
