it is like everyone.
and also we dont get our schedules til the first day of school (i just went to the site)
soo yeah i am pretty much screwed.
i guess i will just have to suck it up and go through it.
i mean everyone has to go through it eventually right?

at my school the first day of school is just freshmen. is it like that for you?
anyways. talk to some of your middle school friends and agree to meet somewhere for lunch then you can all figure out where to sit.
as for finding your classes and stuff, really don't be afraid to ask an upperclassman. I had to do it once or twice and they were cool about it.

okay well im gonna be a sophomore
well the first day went by kinda fast for me
but i already knew where my classes were cause i went around and figured it out when i got my schedule
i pretty much just went from class to class and didn't really talk to many people except in drama cause i had friends there.
at lunch i just sat somewhere and some other girls that i sorta/kinda knew came and sat with me
then the second day i sat somewhere else and some different girls sat with me. i didn't know them well either but we sat together for the rest of the semester anyways and now they are my ify friends
after two days my schedule changed a bit and i made friends in those classes.

Idk about the BBQ
My gut tells me no.
But i could be wrong
My main fear is getting lost.
My friend said I should get a map but. . .somehow i think that would make me look completely lame.
What I was thinking about doing is staying in a stall of the bathroom until everyone clears the halls and then finding my way with the map.
I wouldn't look lame and I would get to where I need to be.
So what if I am a little late.

hey i am going into high school next year too.
does your school have like a Grade 9 BBQ or something where you get to come and meet other gr.9's?
if it does i highly reccomend that you go. you'll meet people there that just because you've seen them before you may find that you become better friends.
chances are you will see SOMEONE you know. whether its from a sports team, a club, someone you have hung out with maybe once or twice before, someone from your school that is in grade ten, or even someone from your old school.
if you really don't know anybody, get some confidence and walk up to a table of people that look like gr.9s and that are having fun, introduce yourself, and ask if you could sit there. the worst that could possible happen is they say no and you try another table.
join lots of clubs and look for people you see in your other classes when you are on your lunch break.

I am starting my first year of high school in August.
And i definitely don't know what to expect.
The first day of school is the only thing that is really like getting to me.
I have a feeling I will be able to survive after the first day.
But in order to survive after the first day. . .I would kinda have to make it through the first day.
Can someone tell me what it is like?
What should I do when I first get there?
Lunch. . .what if I dont see anyone I know? Do i just sit alone?
Any other helpful information would help me out a lot.
