I was scared the first time. Then it was just pressure then PAIN. It DOES hurt I am NOT lying. I threw up afterwards, because if I am at a doctor's office, and been through pain I have black spots then fill nauseated. Then I PUKE! -- So my 2 happiest days of my life? I've been about half a year ago. They look in your V w/this metal tool that pulls the walls out so they can see. Then they put gloved fingers in you and feel around for things like cysts (which if you have one u may need 2 hav an ultra sound) & they do a breast exam.. and a pap smear. and ask you questions. sometimes they dont do all of the inspection on your first visit though. Most of the time they just talk to you your first visit. then if there is somthing they are concerned about, they will do what they need to to find it. like when i went i only had to get an ultrasound. -- ~livin' life to its fullest!~ left the periodless club on 5/2/2006

my sis went to the gyno and i have to go soon because i'm having some discomfort. everybody told me that its usually a woman doctor and basically they look in your v@gina for infections and feel around in it for anything wrong. many people say its uncomfortable but its good because it helps you stay healthy. people go when they become sexually active or when they have discomfort down there. don't worry about it because it might feel a little awkward but all women need to go.

Oh I went to the gyno today [techaniclly yesterday since it's midnight]! It's DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and UNBELIEVABLY UNCOMFTERABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not trying to scare you, but it's true. They have like this BIG cotton swab they put in there. Also they have this silver thjing they put in your V, amd open up your V. It feels uncomfterable. I was in pain afterwards. -- So my 2 happiest days of my life? August 15th 2008-Seth September 9th 2008-Braiden The best. Yet.

well..when you are thinking of becoming s3xually active you should go. you should also go when you are 18. they can give you thinks like birth control run cultures and blood tests in some places. and they do pelvic exams. and pap smears. and if they are an ob/gyn they do everything to help you if you become pregnant also. -- I'm bisexual. well i've never been the gyno, but my sister has. at the gyno they look in your vag for any infections and stuff, and clean it out to prevent things like cervical cancer. it's uncomfortable but necessary. -- a girl should be two things, classy and fabulous! - coco chanel Proud to be Canadian
