well, if people like you in school it shouldn't be a problem... i have the same problem as you, except that not alot of people like me in school, idk, they talk to me but alot of people i always felt like they stuck their noses up around me, i think cause i kept to myself and they thought i was a snob.... any how, w/e off track, what i did was like if i wanted to hang out with some one i would go 1 to 3 people groups typically, and make sure we all had something in common and then i would know what i wanted to do with them before i asked, like i would suggeset going to grab dinner then going to a movie, or rollerblading or swimming, skating, trail rides (horses), etc, and if i wasn't sure what the person who i wanted to hang out with was going to want to do, i'd ask them what they wanted to do instead, cause im easy to entertain (not in a sl,utty way, in a total like i can watch 5 movies in a row and as long as i have my laptop to occupy my time with i would be ok kind of thing)

since you're well-liked it shouldn't be a problem =) I think the best thing would to ask a few people to a movie on a weekend. it's a no pressure situation, you can talk but if you can't think of anything or run out of things to say, just watch the movie. then you will probably feel more comfortable with them by the end so go grab ice cream after or something. it's probably easier in a group. just some suggestions to take the pressure off you until you get more adjusted =)

just try making a general conversation with people about their summer or the weather or something aha, and then maybe arrange for a group of you to hang out sometime or go to the mall or something? (:

really, just get yourself out there. join some clubs at school, have a party and invite your whole class like a get to know everyone party. if you meet some people you think will be fun to hang out with, talk to them at school and invit them over ocasionally. go out to lunch with a group of people. basically you. it doesnt matter if you know what to say or do, just talk about school and go to a fun place so you dont have to actually "do" anything except go with them. again, just get yourself out there and if you could be good freinds with the people, you will automatically bond.

I'm 14 and in my school almost everyone knows me and likes me and I am friendly with them and everyhting but that is only in school. I never really see anyone outside of school. I feel like I don't have really good friends or a best friend. I am always so lonely and I never go anywhere. My parents force me to go out (weird). How do I become more outgoing? I feel kinda shy sometimes. And the shy thing is not the biggest problem. It's like I never invite people to my house or anywhere or call them because I never know what to say or do. I don't wanna be boring but I do't know what to do other than talk. Any things I can do to have more friends and things we could do for fun? I'm not that good at starting good conversation either. I need to be alot more outgoing since I'm going to highschool now and there are a lot more people to hang out with.
