I agree. The doctor has looked down south before, but it's not like he felt it, or put his freaking finger inside me. NO DOCTOR would do that. EVER.

uh i'm 16 & got my period 2 years ago. i've been to the doctors for 2 physicals since i've had my period and never once has he made me take my underwear off. i just have to change into a gown with only my underwear and bra underneath and he just pushed on my stomach.
you're definitely not for real, if you are, you need a new doctor

actually thats normal when your starting to go through puberty or ur a teenager like me they do that its just so that they can check for an stds and urianiary infections make sure everything looks okayy n stuff like that...its completely normal i have it done too they usually tell you though why n what there gnna do....just wait till you go see the gyno thats even more embarssing...

It wasn't too bad!! But they made me lay down on the table and he pulled my panties down and was feeling me all over down there, it was really uncomfortable and embarassing. Like it was for a good 2 whole minutes. Oh yeah and I had to pee in a cup while I was laying down after he touched me all over down there...  |

Actually they might give you a shot if your behind one or something. Like a tetnous shot your suppose to get every 10 years so if that's not up to date they'll probably give you one. They also might ask you if you want theshot for Gardasil it's not that bad it helps keep some type of illness away... I got it!

aww I used to be like that when I didn't go for a long time. ok so for a physical they do your height/weight, test reflexes, maybe take a urine sample, check all your vitals & such. it isn't a big deal at all. at physicals they don't take blood or do shots so nothing bad, don't worry =)

yea my mom has to make me an appointment, they do all kind of stuff incuding SHOTS!!!!

I'm only 14, so it might be different, but what they do at physicals(normally) is;
-- Weight
-- Height
-- Reflexes
-- Shots(if you need them)
-- and a full body check. (normally just checking to make sure you're developing properly)
It's not really something to be nervous about.

well, you'll have to get a pap (if your not a virgin, but if your getting a phsyical they might any how) so they'll stick a plastic thing up there and like swab your cervix with this nifty little thing to be sent off to make sure your ok down there
um they might check your boobs for lumps too...
then they'll probably ask you general questions about what you eat, your excersising, any problems you have with your health...
i have never been to that kind of check up but ya thats the gyst as far as i know, i 've only ever seen a doctor cause i was like hurt or sick so ya

ok so i have to go to the doctor at 12:30 on monday. i haven't been in like 12 years and i forget what they do. im 19 and really neverous what they do. so what do they usually do???? (like step by step in as much detail as possible please) its not like a special visit just a full physical.
