i got my braces on this summer, and i got the bottom ones like a month ago. my top teeth seem fine now and my bottom ones seem good except theres a little crowding. but after that im guessing they will have to align my bite so i really have no idea how long they will be on for! -- <3 =] 2009 boston red sox.  He didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it. <3 daddy. love you; miss you. |

I have a permanent retainer on the bottom, but just to help align my teeth during the pre-braces stage. It doesn't really bother me. Except, I've had it for 2 years, and the attachment on my back molar cracked and its annoying me because if I play with it, the whole thing will fall off. My mom's trying to make me an ortho appt but we moved, so its taking forever. -- "Like a song without words, like a world without music, I wouldn't know what to do I'd be lost without you.......watching over me." i had braces for over three years. from when i was 10 to almost 14. its odd really, part of me still misses them. they were there for so long it feels like part of me is missing sort of. even though ive had them off for 5 years.

because its glued in and is bothering me ha.

I've had mine off for almost a year.
I had them on for 1year.
It was quite funny because, in my final month I had little wires around the brakets instead of the coloured o-rings. I'd never had the wires before. So when she popped them off i thought she was just taking the wires off, but she was actually finished! Then she jut had to polish them.
Didn't hurt a bit

Yeah...I'll probably end up hating them...but I hate my teeth. They are crowded and crooked on the top.
