domestic violence should always be taken very seriously. my aunt was going through this with her husband. it was really really bad, and it caused a lot of emotional and mental damage, on the part of her, and my cousins. i think if you talk to her about it, she won't listen. you can still try, but I remember when we were trying to get my aunt out of this situation, she just wouldn't listen. she would always believe her husband over us, even though he would beat her up really badly. the best thing to do in a situation like this, i have found, is to contact the authorites. call APS, the police, domestic violence hotlines, etc. Does she have any kids? if she does, you can call CPS, and they will do an investigation, without her or her bf knowing. it may sound like a harsh thing to do, but it may be the only thing that will give her a wakeup call. it worked with my aunt. -- I'm a culinary geek |

You have to talk to her. Tell her exactly how you feel about the situation she's putting herself in and how she doesn't deserve that sort of treatment. Let her know that you truly care that she is safe and happy. And if all else fails, get an authority figure.
