Buying tampons was so acward!!!!!!

The last time I got pads/tampons, both, my brother and my boyfriend came with me. Ugh. It was okay, I guess, but my boyfriend was over my house, and my mom and dad weren't home at the time, and I got my period but had no more pad/tampons left in the house. Well, in New York you have to be 17+ to be able to drive, and the store is like 10 minutes away and it was freezing cold outside, so I had to have my brother take me. But my boyfriend of course had to come. But another thing to make this "joy trip" a little bit funner, was that both, my brother (Chris) and my boyfriend (Ryan) are extremely over-protective of me. So we walked into the store, and of course they had to both come into the store with me, and so I just ignored them, and went straight to the pad/tampon aisle. But the problem was, I had no idea what to get, so my brother said to this random girl standing next to us "what tampons am I supposed to get?" well, he obviously meant for me, but it sounded like he meant for him, so me and Ryan went hysterical and the girl had the look like 'wtf' on her face, and Chris was like "WOAHH! WAIT! NOT FOR ME! FOR HER! *points at me*" hahahaha it was the funniest thing ever. But then I called my mom, she told me what to get and I pretty much ran to the counter, paid, then ran out of the store as fast as I could.

Try having to buy them in a store FULL of 13 and 14 year olds. Many of them male.

I was as camp and a huuuuge group of us walked downtown to the little center of town... and everyone just happen to go into the rite aid. So there's a store full of oh... 40-50 teenagers, and I'd say half were boys. I HAD to get them, as I wasn't expecting my period that week. So I go down the aisle with tampons in it, look around nonchalantly and knock the box in my bag. I grabbed a bag of swedish fish and doritos and then I cut an actual shopper in line so a camp kid wouldn't see me pay for them. Then I leave to go back with my friends (guys, convientently) and guard my bag with my life. Ohh, fun day.

nothing but starting out the new year with ur first period!!!!

OMG!!! i was buying pads and tampons the pads were m ine and the tampons r for a friend but sometimes i use them for sports and i was giong to chckout with 1 box of pads and 2 boxes of tampons and he said "god!!! do u really need ALL those pads and tampons?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!?" and he said it so loud but i told him that some where for my friend wich some where and hes like "yeah sure whatever" and i was sooooooooooooooooooooo embarrsed!!!!!! i felt like i was gonna cry cause the next day at school he told like EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they teased me for like 4 months maybe more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha when i first got some i was with my mom and she was like hey i have an idea! lets go get u some tampons! so we went down the isle and i was just standing there n she was like well we should get some thick ones in case u have a heavy flow! haha it was really embarising cuz all these women were there just kinda giving me weird looks like they remember when they first got tampons. haha!
