its nothing wrong with that, but maybe there is something missing, there shoulnd't just be physical love but emotional love involved and if you two slept together there should be more than just a physical enjoyment, to me it kinda just feel like you enjoy his company and he enjoy yours kinda like a friendship, which there is turely nothing wrong with that, maybe later you two would progress throughout your feelings for each other so you don't neccesarly have to love him ,just wait for that moment. Ack, see, this is what I was talking about that bugs me. It wasn't for physical enjoyment, it was a momentary lack of judgment. Thought I was ready, most definitely wasn't, hence why I'm so sure I don't love him. I mean, I love him as a person. I like him as my boyfriend. It's more than a friendship, I know that much. -- It’s a big, bright, beautiful world, with happiness all around. It’s peaches and cream and every dream comes true. It’s a big, bright, beautiful world, with possibilities everywhere. And just around the bend there’s a friend or two. But not for you. People hate the things they cannot understand. (11/22/08. Absolutely not! I am not in love with my boyfriend! Maybe sometime down the road, you might fall in love with him, but why push it? Things are fine the way they are. And as long as you both care about each other, then I don't see what is wrong with not being in love with him. -- Missing someone special... Feel free to message me about anything! Thank you for agreeing with me. The last people I told about this thought that it couldn't be an actual relationship, and we were really just friends "pretending" it was a relationship. Ugh. thats so stupid. you dont instantly start out in love in a relationship. real love takes time and history to build it up.

lol they're probably biased and have boyfriends they're obsessed with and think they're gonna get married one day xP ugh that reminds me of this guy. he's a total manwh0re and takes advantage of girls. and he does that thing a lot where you say you're in love, then break up a few weeks later. there's this one girl he's going out with now, and he posted this facebook survey about her saying that he plans to go out with her forever and is madly in love with her and never wants another girlfriend again. and yet he's said that about countless other girls. -- Edited by a person at Aug 8, 2009 6:15 PM EDT -- ♥ ♫ ░▒▓aиιssa▓▒░ ♫ ♥ Life is the art of drawing without an eraser The hardest thing in life, is letting go of what you thought was real. No I dont think its wrong. I think that you are lucky that you are so in touch with your feelings. Maybe he is the one and it just hasnt happened yet. couldn't have said it better lol. it's way better than you pretending to be gaga and planning your wedding. having fun hanging out and being with each other is what you should look for in a relationship. it's not like you are required to feel a burning passion for each other at this age. -- ♥ ♫ ░▒▓aиιssa▓▒░ ♫ ♥ Life is the art of drawing without an eraser The hardest thing in life, is letting go of what you thought was real. i dont think its weird youre honest and mature enough to admit that youre not in love which is a million times better than girls who fall in love after 40 seconds if you enjoy each others company and you really find him attractive, i dont see why it couldnt turn into love someday but i admire that you arent trying to fool yourself into "loving" him -- My name is Katie. It's not weird, it's completely normal not to be in love when you are only 16. -- Chelsea Grace <3 Girlspace Member since 2004! I Dance. It's my thing.

Is it wrong to not feel "in love"?

I've been going out with this boy since November. He is absolutely incredible. He's amazing. He makes my heart float. But I don't love him. I like him. I like him a whole lot. In the day and age where absolutely everyone says that they're in love with a boy 40 seconds after meeting them, I was told it's weird that we don't tell each other "I love you". I mean, I'm 16. This is my first real relationship. I have no basis to stand love on. We've slept together, and it wasn't out of love I don't think. It's not that we don't love each other. I mean, we... enjoy each other. It's more than platonic and less than love. Why is that so weird? -- It’s a big, bright, beautiful world, with happiness all around. It’s peaches and cream and every dream comes true. It’s a big, bright, beautiful world, with possibilities everywhere. And just around the bend there’s a friend or two. But not for you.
