i have to throw in that confidence isn't everything. it's important because, yeah, people don't like whiny girls who are always putting themselves down. but guys don't like overly confident cocky people either. that's a real turn off. there's this girl in all of my classes who's realllllly cocky and always talking about how she's right, the teacher's wrong, she's the smartest and best at everything, blah blah. guys hate it. lol so i just had to add that.

No, you're not ugly. There's no such thing as being ugly, it's a state of mind.
In order for you to feel 'pretty' you really need to tell yourself that you are, so then your self confidence will grow from the inside out- if you believe it- so will other people.
Guy's aren't attracted to girls who think they're not pretty, they don't want to be bothered with girls who keep repeating themselves, 'do you think I'm pretty?', or 'I don't think I'm pretty..' They don't like it, it's a burden to repeat something that you should already know the answer to.
Long story, short;
SELF CONFIDENCE= KEY
It's a turn on for guys.
