well i vote yes, just explain that you're not in it to play games. you need to make sure you have control of this relationship. you can let him be the "man" or whatever but keep your foot down. you can let him try to make this work but if you can see it going back downhill you be the one to set it straight.

Don't go back out with him. I went through the same thing for four years of my life. Your only going to get hurt more when he breaks up with you again. I know guys this type, not worth it. You'll find someone else, like i did.

i really think you shouldnt go back out with him
he only wanted a break for the summer so that he could flirt and hang out with other girls and not get in trouble for it
if he really liked you and really cared about you, it wouldnt matter if it was summertime or wintertime... he would have still wanted to be with you

I went through the same crap. My ex didnt want to be in a relationship for the summer. I was hoping by seeing me a few times it would be like old times. He just doesn't even see me as someone who he once really cared a lot for. I got mad when he went out with his other ex when he said he wanted to be single. She ended up getting a different bf.
