...chewing tabaco.

Ah. I was thinking of something else.

Well.... I guess maybe it would be best to help the guy find some professional help for it or something? He obviously can't seem to do it alone.

If he has been lieing to you about that, then why wouldn't he have the intensions of lieing to you again.
Not that people cant quit or change, but i think you need to break up with him. because he probably will keep doing it, so perhaps you should break up with him temperarilly until he does quit.

i think you should give him a chance to quit.
its not easy to just quit something, just like that.
maybe give him a couple weeks? and tell him if he doesnt quit by then then you guys have to break up.

I caught my boyfriend,

Dec 13, 2008 12:41 PM

I'm so mad right now!
I caught my boyfriend dipping this morning, after he's been telling me how well he's doing and stuff, and I yelled at him for it, because basically he's been lying to me about it. He's been doing it since he was like 15- so he's an addict now.
But we got in this big argument, and he said he IS quitting, and that he's wheening off of it. And yeah I guess it makes sense and all, but IT'S JUST SO BAD FOR HIM! It's disgusting and he knows it, and wants to quit. When I told my mom what happened, (My mom & I are really close) she said that I should just dump him for lying to me about it for two months. But I never caught him until now..
So I don't know? I mean we've been together now for almost 7 months, I don't think I have it in me to end it so soon.
What should I do? What would you do if you were me?

Thanks!
