Yea it sounds like he's flirting but trying to cover it up.... Maybe next time he does that and says your eyes or pretty or your pretty whatever, you could say something back... be like thanks, and you're very hansome too or your hairs cute or whatever you like about him  maybe he'll catch on... and keep complimenting you -- I love him 05/23/08 <3 -- "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb" |

guys are sooo weird. I think hes prolly flirting and trying to cover it up. But...i also happen to be super very bad at flirting. The way i go about it is basically just telling them that i like them and leaving it at that...so i usually have to be very sure that they like me back. Um..try flirting back, and dont get too stressed out about it, it will work out.

he might have some feelings for you and is trying to hint around to you by complimenting you, but then trying to cover it up by playfully insulting you, since he doesn't know how you feel about him. He doesn't want to put himself out there and you not feel the same way, so he tries to hint around, but then try to hide it so you won't be suspisious.

it is this boy that i always talk to me n him are like best friends, and today he was making fun of my small lips, (he wasnt tryin to hurt me or anything,thats just the way we play around)so today we was riding the bus n was talking and he came out of no where and said u have really pretty eyes ,then he looked at me again and said that i have a really pretty nose too.but then he said i just have really small lips.then he started talking about how i am hippy but i just dont have a big butt.and said that i was really pretty but i just sometimes be making weird facial expressions which r werid,and takes away from my eyes (he so call pretty) then he started stiring at me for now reason,
i dont understand is he flirting with me or just idk speaking his mind?
