i didn't do it, but i have several friends who are in it. it's pretty rough on them, and these are some really smart kids. they don't get a lot of social time, and even their elective classes are real working courses. so, i wouldn't recommend it. just from what i've seen what you could do instead though, is just take ap and/or honors classes on as you think you can handle them. you can take those classes whether you are in ib or not, and maybe not get in way over your head. and you can take the electives you are interested in rather than being pushed into the ones they want you to take. if you do well you can still get into a good college don't sell yourself short on the grades. if you work hard you can still get a's. i have a friend that takes a bunch of advanced courses and still gets like a 97-100 grade range in most of them. and that's without ib -- michaela i'm a theatre child interior designer- that's what i hope to be this guy named jesus, well he kinda has my heart i'm huge on music and i'm a total hippie
i'm awesome you should talk to me

The only reason I'm considering it(if I did it it would be the high school program that starts in 9th grade and continues throughout 12th) is because I would like to get into a prestigious college like Harvard or Yale. I've never had a B(I'm only in 8th grade though, so that's bound to change) -- May Twenty-Sixth, Two Thousand And Nine♥ "I'm pretty but I'm not beautiful. I sin but I'm not the devil. I've heard about it, and a couple of my friends are doing it next year at college Although it's very good and you benefit LOTS from it, it's alot of added pressure and the work can be very straining. It's supposed to be good for you if you have good time management, like, you have no problems sticking to deadlines. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're very keen on it and if you feel you will have no problem with it academically -- 07/18/2009 ♥ iloveyou!

Is anyone in it/was previously in it? I'm considering applying and wanted opinions on it. -- May Twenty-Sixth, Two Thousand And Nine♥ "I'm pretty but I'm not beautiful. I sin but I'm not the devil. I'm good but I'm no angel."-- marilyn monroe. ♥
