Hellllo girls!
So today Summer & I went to this little hole in the wall tea room place where we live & you know we got dressed up in our 'old lady' clothes kinda, and drove down there OMG, I'm not a total fan of tea and scones but this place was soo good!! :] We totally recommend you and a best friend/sister/or mom going to a tea room or something it's such a great bonding experience for people! Anyways so yeah we ordered..

Two pots of Tea- $8
Two scones- $4
Two Shepard's Pies!- $14 each

Along with some other things, it came out to about $40 for both of us :]
Not too bad considering we're not made of money but it was an enjoyable morning/afternoon to spend time with someone! WE highhhhhhly suggest doing something like this!

What we're trying to say is, CARPE DIEM!

Which means, SEIZE THE DAY!

Heyyy babies!
We're both here and focused on this blog together for once! :]

We're basically going to explain ALL types of birth controls for girls who are sexually active. Understand though, that with birth control there's usually side effects of the following;
Headaches, dizziness, tenderness, nausea, breakthru bleeding, spotting, irrability- the whole nine yards!
Yeah it can be a pain sometimes, but would you rather have that or a baby in 9 months?

TYPES OF BIRTH CONTROL

Barrier Methods;
male modnoc (backwards)
female modnoc
spermicides
diaphragm
cervical cap
contraceptive sponge

Hormonal Methods;
birth control pills
depo-provera (it's a vaccine that prevents pregnancy for 3 months)
lunelle (vaccine that's monthly)
nuva ring/vaginal ring
birth control patch
intrauterine device (IUD)

Withdrawl & Sterilization Methods;
Withdrawl- male winky is removed before he..yah know

Sterilization for women is a surgery in which the fallopian tubes are closes shut, not dropping eggs.

Sterilization for men is a surgery which closes the tube that carries the little men.

If you have ANY questions about how/what some of these birth controls are and how they work please, don't hesitate to ask us, we'd love to help you understand what your options are!! :]]]

Although all of these can be effective, there is ALWAYS a chance of pregnancy, whether it's from just fooling around or from sex. Always be safe girls!!!

BEWARE OF THE PRE_YA KNOW!

Pre-ejac., or sometimes known as 'pre-muc' (backwards)..I don't know if we can say that on here or not..oh well!
It holds about 10,000 sperms! And can make you pregnant- boys don't know when they do it or not so they can't tell you. All Summer & I are going to say is always wear a condom because those little suckers can swim!!!

We hope this blog helped you girls out with your decisions on birth control- and always practice safe sex with partners!

Hey girlys! It's Katy! I didn't get a chance to finish off Summer's blog yesterday on sex and stuff, so I'm writing my own! yay! :]

First of all I'll start out on what the topic is, GYNOCOLOGIST (I think I spelled that right..) Anyways this is how is allll goes down..
I know it can be nerve wracking, whether it's you first time or 35th! It's always a little weird to open up to a stranger like that and say "hey, it's nice to meet you- wanna see my vagina?" But that's the thing, they're not exactly a stranger, they're doctors it's what they do. Don't hesitate to ask questions or tell him/her what's going on with your body!
SO anyways, I'd suggest in seeing a woman, it's a personal choice I just find it easier to open up to a woman like that, then a male! Girls know what cramps feel like and what tampons feel like- boys don't! Hah! Anywhooo you go in read some old magazines, they call your name and sometimes they make you pee in a cup for a urine sample to check it out or sometimes they don't. So you follow her in, they check your breathing, pulse, blood pressure all that good stuff. Then she goes alright, follow me and we'll get you started! That's when your tummy drops and the nerves kick in! Then the doctor comes in and answers any questions you have, ex; about birth control, sex anything you want to know more about. Then she asks you to put on this vest and paper gown thing and to sit on your back on the table- put the heel of your foot into the stirrup things. She turns a light on to see you better- then WHAM she pulls out a drill!!
Haha just kidding, that's awful..I shouldn't have said that :]
Picture it this way, its basically a tampon made out of metal, and she puts that in, easy right? RIGHT! Then it slowly dialates the opening so the doctor can see and make sure everything looks healthy, then she just takes a q-tip and swabs gently, then guess what? It's over!
It's not painless persay, but it's just uncomfortable- like someone pulling your hair or something.
Nothing to be worried about! Before you know it's over and your dreading the next appt. haha in a year :]

Hope that helped a little bit, it's nothing to be scared of, always remember it's for your health!!

Now the famous talk of sex, THE SEX TALK!

I can't speak for all girls on this, I'm speaking from personal experience actually. The two main points I want to get across to everyone of you is that there's pretty much two kinds of 'losing it' the kind that it's with someone you don't care about- and the kind that is!
Say you like this guy and you think he likes you too, you hang out alot on weekends like the same sports or whatever, and one night one thing leads to another, and you're having sex with this boy. Does it SOUND like a big deal? NO it doesn't because you think you like him and yadda yadda yadda. Reality is, that when you lose it to someone, anyone doesn't matter who afterwards you're always going to feel a little less whole, like a piece of the puzzle just fell out of the box. Sex can make and break relationships like that- and by that I mean a snap of a finger! Rumors get started, jealousy happens, you can turn against eachother saying stuff like "Oh he wasn't good at all, or she didn't know what was happening.." Sex isn't fun for the first times, it can be painful and heartbreaking. Or sometimes it's not, it can be exhilarating and can bring you to a whole different level of closeness. It all depends on who, where, how, and why. Bottom line, wait for someone you care about to come along and don't do it out of a drunken act of teenage life. It's totally not worth it to see someone you shared that with, not even care a blink of an eye about what happens to you, how you feel or anything.

Sorry if that what a little choppy, I need to keep working on structuring my lectures :]

Any questions, concerns, comments?
Just message/comment!

PS: Summer says hiiiii! <3

PPS: Keeeep on reading! We'd love to get to know all of you better!

What's goood chickas! Summer here, since Katy did the last one on Tamps! Lucky duckkk, it's my favorite subject HA!

Anyways, speaking seperatley from Katy, since she's way beyond passed out from 'trying' to stay up and study whattta B.A, I know! My goal for tonight's edition of primetime blogging according to Summer, is to help you understand the basics of boys, boys and everything that goes along with whatever they are haha :]

First thing's first on the agenda, RELATIONSHIPS!
I'm not going to beat around the bush- either your ready for one or your totalllly NOT! I'm going to be frank, relationships with boys don't usually mean OMG DO YOU LYYKE ME? CUZ I'VE LIKED YOU FOR LIKEEEE IDK TWO DAYS AND I ALREADY KNOW AND LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU. LUV YOU JOHNNY! Then as it seems to progress, dun duh dunnn, suddenly! What's this? They break up two days later because they have no idea who they are, you get the picture.

All you girls never forget this; the key to a good relationship is patience, communication & laughter. If you find weakness in someone, help make them stronger! Be the better person, and work it out TOGETHER! :]

I do realize though, that lots and lots of variables can play into a relationship to weigh it down with stress, examples can be; age difference, parents, siblings, friends, anything really! But still try to stick it out, and if things just don't work out it's perfectly alright, you two just we'ren't meant for eachother!!

Kissing? Whaaat's the DEALIO!?
Kissing is probably the number one way to express feelings towards people, whether its your boyfriend/girlfriend, family member, long time friends, associates its' used allll over the world as signals of hello's & goodbye's aswell. If it happens to be with a special someone, it's that one private moment that's totally something you both own and know how to do it! Even though it can be in the middle of a street or on the couch late at night it's something you two share and always will, because no matter how many boys or girls you kiss in a lifetime everyone of them is different, everyone of them you've learned and taken something from that person. Ever heard of stealing kisses? Hah :]
Anyways so you're probably thinking c'mon Summer hurry up just tell me how you do it already! Well I could break out this humungo geometry book on how to angle it exactly and when to exacute tounges and when to put them back, but kissing isn't math, it's beautiful and is shared differently! So just play it up and go with the flow, it's you're own thang! BE CREATIVE!!

Finally, Sex.

I'm not gonna lie to you, I'm a virgin.

This blog topic was soley Katy's idea and I think she'll take the reigns on sex whenever she decides to wake up :]
I do know the basics, but I can't tell you anything about how it feels or how your actions can lead to some pretty serious consequences, that's Katy's thing. And she'll be glad to answer any questions concerns anything! :]
As for me, anything about sex past my knowing, bet your bottom dollar I'm Google-ing it!!

Haha well it's been very nice sharing my thoughts with you all, sorry if this was a little vague, I'll be sure to get better as our GS adventures continue!

PS; Did I tell you I'm going on VACA w/ my family in a few weeks to Florida! YAY! We'll probably bring Katy too! Haha!

PPS: Also, did I mention Katy likes fishing? YUCK! Something about that just doesn't sound appealing to me ha!

So we've been poking and lurking around Girlspace for a few days before signing up, and we've come to the conclusion that the first blog entry for us is going to be on the ever popular question and concern of TAMPONS! YAY!

FAQ about Tampons, according to Katy;

How do I put them in?
-Well they'res usually instructions on the box, which is the most general ways to do it. But the number one thing to do is RELAX and take your time!! If something doens't feel right, keep trying & don't give up! Grip the applicator firmly and just send it right on up until you're fingers reach the outside of your body, then gently push it up and..VOLIA! I don't think I spelled that right but oh well, and yay! The worst part is over, you've mastered it! Then proceed on with your day not worrying about leaking of course :] After about 4-6 hours, just tug on the string a little bit and re-insert another one! Simple as that :]

What's TSS & How do I get it?
Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) can be deadly! Although it is very very rare, and can be caused by the tampon being left in for TOO long and in that happening, it leaves time for bacteria to grow, and for an infection to occur.

If I put a tampon in, will it get lost up there?
Best question, ever. No, it cannot get lost up there, although it may seem like your vajayjay is endless- it isn't! They'res an end to it and most tampons don't even make it that far anyways. So don't worry you won't be finding it behind your ear a week later or anything :]

How old do you have to be to use tampons?
There isn't an age persay- it's more or less whenever you're comfortable with using them. Or when your flow starts to pick up & pads aren't cutting it.

Will I still be a virgin if I use tampons?
Unless your tampon just happen's to be a male winky, then YES! You will still be a virgin- the definition basically of a virgin is to be penetrated by a male yoo-hoo and well yeah, that's about it. Hah!

Can I shower/bathe with a tampon in?
Yeah I guess you can if want to, but there's no point really because when you're in water the blood stops flowing anyways. Besides, you can clean up a little too!

Alright that's it for this edition of TAMPOLOGY w/ Katy :]

l♥ve always, summer&katy!
